We are very lucky at Paces to be supported by a fantastic group of parents, staff and friends of the school who plan and organise a wide variety of activities.
The PTA are always looking for additional volunteers to join and whether you are a relative of a child in school or someone who would like to support our fantastic work you would be more than welcome.
The PTA meet during school time approximately once each half term and sometimes more frequently on the run up to a big event. The date of the next meeting can be found on the school calendar on the website.
In the school year 2018-2019 the PTA hosted a Christmas Craft Fayre, a Summer Fayre, organised an Easter Egg hunt for the children and provided refreshments at many school events. The funds raised by the PTA are used to supplement activities within school. The events are also an opportunity for families and the wider community to come together.
Last year the PTA funded the following:
- A visit from Zoo Lab bringing a variety of animals into school for the children to explore
- A Christmas panto experience for the whole school
- Transport for the whole school trip to Twycross Zoo
- A PA system that the children will be able to use during assemblies etc
