The Durham boys enjoyed a fun and tasty RE lesson making lemon laddoos, a sweet treat enjoyed by many Muslims during Eid celebrations! 🌙
As part of their learning about Islam and the celebration of Eid, the boys explored how food plays an important role in bringing families and communities together. They got hands-on with making their own lemon laddoos, developing their practical skills while learning more about Muslim traditions and celebrations.
It was a wonderful way to bring their learning to life, celebrate diversity and discover how food can help us share in one another’s special occasions. And, of course, the best part was seeing their delicious creations come together.
