We have designed our own Mendi patterns which are used in the Indian culture to celebrate events such as wedding and the birth of a child.

This Friday we have had made a traditional Indian dessert, mango lassi. We particularly enjoyed tasting it!

For the past two weeks we have enjoyed exploring India as part of our topic, ‘Around the World in 80 days’. We have explored and created rangoli patterns using coloured rice.

We are enjoying our new topic Around the World in 80 days. During our Geography lesson we travelled to the continents of North and South America, learning about their famous cities and landscapes.
