Soundtracks

Creating soundtracks to represent the movement of the Northern Lights, we loved to create loud and quiet sounds and also fast and slow. Children created a soundtrack whilst watching a clip of the Northern Lights. Amazing work.

Christmas

Working as a team to decorate our Christmas tree, it looks amazing. We discussed taking turns and sharing with our friends.

Pictograms

Children have learnt about recording data using tally charts and pictograms. We have explored our favourite foods, surprisingly our favourite was chocolate and our least favourite was lemon. We really enjoyed tasting different food, it was fun.

Christmas Fayre

All the children enjoyed participating in the Christmas Fayre activities. They had a great time baking for the cake sale and decorating cards and ornaments.

Harvest festival

As part of Wentworth’s R.E topic, Christianity, we arranged a Harvest Festival celebration. The students organised the posters to ask for donations, these donations of food and personal care items were donated to the local High Green food bank.

Maafa

This term Wentworth studied Maafa, learning about the history of slavery and creating work such as acrostic poems. The class created canvas paintings after planning and deciding how to portray their emotions around slavery.
