Wow! What a fab day supporting Children in Need. Thank you so much for all the donations, the total is still being counted but it definitely looks like Paces best year yet…!

Finley has worked extremely well this week with his mark making. He has picked up a felt tip pen independently throughout the week and made marks on the paper. He even recognised when the pen was upside down and turned it the right way himself. Well done Finley! 😀

This week we have had Diwali themed lessons from science and art to music and maths. The children in Hardwick have really enjoyed learning about the festival of light and the story of Rama and Sita. Check out the photos of the children and see how much fun it was! 🎉

Ramiyah has done so well this week with her walking. She has had minimal verbal prompts to step. She has walked with support from one area of the classroom to another very well this week. Well done Ramiyah😊

We have learnt all about Remembrance day this week. The children loved Durham class joining us on a walk to the cenotaph in Chapeltown park, to lay a poppy wreath that Hardwick children made. We also walked to the Royal British legion to see their poppies too.

We are on the countdown for our class sponsored walk to walk 5.5 miles! Staff have done a trial run at the weekend and are raring to go. Hardwick children can’t wait to explore their new sensory equipment that we will be able to buy from the funds raised. Only 12 days to go!!!

Thomas has settled back into school brilliantly this week. He has been very engaged and participated in activities in class. Well done Thomas 😀 Mel Hipwell.

What a busy first week back after half term. Hardwick have loved celebrating Halloween and learning all about bonfire night. We have baked, had a sensory story, done a science experiment, done some arts and crafts as well as listening to all those firework sounds.
