This week, we have been focusing on mermaids as a mini unit of our overarching topic: ‘Water Adventures’. We heard the story of Millie, a mermaid who was afraid of the sea but had to face her fears when crisis struck! We really enjoyed this sensory story and explored lots of different props such as sand, drums, water and fabrics. We even shared the storytelling role using switches!
