Balmoral were pretty disgusted to discover that Romans did not have toilet roll. We explored further looking at things they may have used including: twigs, pebbles, leaves and moss. They discussed the properties of the materials and even came up with ideas to make their own inventions. Balmoral are still horrified by this, but had a great time discussing with each other.
