We spent two days off-timetable learning all about growing up, as part of our PSHE and RSE curriculum. We enjoyed a sensory hygiene session, practised dressing and bathing using dolls, explored body parts with playdough, and crafted some beautiful friendship-themed art work!
This afternoon the class have participated in spa activities, face masks, hand massages and nail painting. Everyone is now feeling more relaxed 💅💆♀️🌿
During our growing up days we learned why it is important to keep ourselves clean. We practiced brushing teeth and washing our dolls.
Our pupils from Wentworth had the amazing opportunity to visit The Science and Media Museum in Bradford. They were able to learn interesting facts about photography including how to take ghost photographs, lost themselves in a mirror maze, looked at the camera exhibition and immersed themselves into our solar system. 🌍📸🎞
As part of our growing up days sessions the children learnt about friendship. We went to the park and chose a word to how we would describe our friends 😁
For our growing up days Hardwick class looked at hygiene and how to stay clean including feeling a toothbrush and cleaning, drying and dressing baby dolls. All the children had a great time 😁

Warwick was busy in the kitchen making a super soup! We chose all our own ingredients, we washed and peeled them and even chopped them up! Our soup was yummy!
