Children had the opportunity to choose and select books from our library, they worked together to ask questions about what books we should choose exploring each others interests including football, princesses, animals and playing with character puppets. This was a lovely time together!
Children have been practicing finding the mass of objects using balance scales. They have used cubes to measure the mass of objects and have used the terminology heavier, lighter and balanced. Amazing work Edinburgh.

We got out into the sunshine today and went on a nature walk around the school grounds. It was interesting to see how much the flowers and plants have grown since we checked on them last!

This week we have had two whole-school ‘Growing Up Days’ which have been very exciting! We’ve covered topics such as the changing body, personal hygiene, body parts and social skills. We really enjoyed spending time with other classes in these sessions.
Our Star of the week is Eliza. Eliza loved archer, she was initiating having a go, pulling back the string. Eliza would then request to have another go by saying “Again”. Well done Eliza 😃
On Thursday Hardwick class went on a science walk to find a bugs, flowers and tree’s. We had a very successful hunt. Thomas loved the bugs. And Eliza loved the flowers and the tree’s.
Children have been learning the game of boccia, they have been practicing the skills of rolling and throwing the ball towards a target, as well as team work and sportsmanship.
