Playdough pro’s

This week Warwick have been making their own playdough, we had so much fun pouring the ingredients and mixing it together. We all chose which colour playdough we wanted and what we wanted it to smell like! As you can see we really enjoyed making it and playing with it afterwards!

Children in Need

We really enjoyed our Children in Need fundraiser this afternoon. We did hook-a-duck, played ball games and explored the amazing Paces bake sale!

Children in need!

Wow! What a fab day supporting Children in Need. Thank you so much for all the donations, the total is still being counted but it definitely looks like Paces best year yet…!

🌟Star of the Week!🌟

Finley has worked extremely well this week with his mark making. He has picked up a felt tip pen independently throughout the week and made marks on the paper. He even recognised when the pen was upside down and turned it the right way himself. Well done Finley! πŸ˜€

This week we have had Diwali themed lessons from science and art to music and maths. The children in Hardwick have really enjoyed learning about the festival of light and the story of Rama and Sita. Check out the photos of the children and see how much fun it was! πŸŽ‰

Happy Diwali!

On Monday the Warwick class were celebrating Diwali! We had so much fun learning all about Diwali, one of our favourite things was listening to the music and having a dance. We also made Diya lights out of clay, designed our very own Mehndi and made beautiful lanterns. Look at us working super hard!

Book worm! πŸ“–

Today we visited a human feature of our local town, Chapeltown library where we enjoyed reading morning. The children really engaged and interacted with others while listening to stories and having a sing song.Β  Finlay also found a book on Queen Elizabeth which we will be learning all about over the next few weeks and enjoying a royal afternoon tea party celebration. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
