Syllables

Edinburgh class have learnt what a syllable is, in preparation to creating our own poem. They enjoyed using instruments and body percussion to count how many syllables are in words. They completed jigsaw puzzles of our favourite fruits to see how the word is broken down, to identify the syllables. Amazing Work

Northern Lights

Children have loved painting the Northern Lights, otherwise known as Aurora. They have used a variety of painting tools including brushes, rollers and stencils. Their artwork looks amazing, curved lines to represent the movement of the colourful lights dancing in the sky. Well done

Remembrance day

On Friday Warwick class worked really hard to make our window display using the poppies that we made to remember all the soldiers ready for remembrance day.

We will remember them

Warwick have been busy learning all about remembrance day, especially about the poppy! We have been working hard on making our very own remembrance day crafts!

Lest We Forget

Durham class have been learning about the soldiers who died in wars to give us all a better future. We had a walk to the war memorial in Chapeltown park to lay our poppy wreaths and pay our respects.

Ramiyah has done so well this week with her walking. She has had minimal verbal prompts to step. She has walked with support from one area of the classroom to another very well this week. Well done Ramiyah๐Ÿ˜Š
