Today in Hardwick class we had our ‘RE Day. We learnt about Judaism. We learnt all about Hanukkah and we tried delicious food.
We had a great day celebrating Halloween from carving pumpkins, baking pastries and even taking part in a Halloween Escape room, solving lots of games and puzzles.
Our pupils had a fantastic time on their second visit to Barnsley College. This time we looked more specifically in “learning for living and work” department where they explored essential life skills to help them navigate life outside of school. This week Hardwick class went on a trip to Hesley Wood outdoor activity centre. Where we spent the day having a go at archery, orienteering and exploring the outdoors in the woodlands Archery was very good for the children’s grasp and realise when holding on to our bow🎯
