Balmoral Class have been studying tectonic plates, how the movements of these can cause the development of volcanoes and earthquakes. Everyone has found this a fascinating topic and have all enjoyed exploring how they work.
This week, Windsor Class enjoyed a trip to Wentworth Woodhouse, spending some time in the lovely gardens! They loved taking pictures of the beautiful flowers, taking in the fresh air, before having lunch in the cafe. Some of the students even pushed themselves to order their own lunch! Amazing trip, would love to come again!
Our pupils had a fantastic time preparing a traditional Italian lasagne. Exploring new flavours and learning about the Italian culture. We are proud of you.🍝
Here in Appleby class, we have had a super busy first week back at school! We have been working so hard and trying our best in everything we do.

Today we learnt about Vesak which commemorates the birth, enlightenment and death of the Buddha. We explored the concepts of reflection, peace and light.
We absolutely LOVE our weekly music sessions with Rosie and as we were learning all about Ireland she matched the theme with the music she had us exploring and we loved it! She also made it super sensory with different things to smell, feel and hear!
Warwick class was a little on the quiet side as there were just 2 friends and so we decided to take a holiday around the world! Although we missed our friends we had a blast exploring all the different countries that we visited!
