This week in Appleby class, we have introduced our new topic “puddles and rainbows” We have been having so much fun exploring different colours of the rainbow.
Last Friday our pupils went climbing and absolutely loved it! They all had a wonderful time challenging themselves and learning new skills. They practiced balance, grasp, coordination and controlled movement while reaching for different holds. They also developed their confidence, problem-solving skills and independence. We are all so proud of you! 🧗♀️❤️ Keep climbing!
Last week our pupils learned about Judaism. They became familiar with all the traditions including food and dress. They absolutely loved it !⭐️✡️
Ahead of Edinburgh classes new lunch time book club starting the students were given a choice of three books by Roald Dahl to vote for! Last week, our students took part in a cottage pie demonstration 🥔🥕🥧They were shown how to peel and prepare potatoes, fry the vegetables and meat, and layer everything together for the perfect bake. Next session, it’s their turn to cook! 👩🍳✨
