Getting that sinking feeling.
We used objects made of different materials in our experiment. Which ones will float and which will sink? Some of the results surprised us.

Our new topic is called “Spirit,” which is all about the Olympic Games. We looked at the modern Olympics and took part in some of the events. It was lots of fun!
Each class designed their own Easter display. We made ours about our school and classroom. “Egginburgh” Class took part in some “Conductive Egg-ucation” task series. We put Lizzie and Ruth in the “Egg Teacher’s ” office.
We had fun on our trip to Magna. We explored all 4 sections, especially water as the topic we are learning is The Water Cycle. We finished off with a picnic in the park.
We each created our own ‘eggstraordinary’ Easter bonnets. They all looked amazing. Didn’t we do a ‘cracking’ job?
We’ve had 4 very fun-filled days of Easter activities! These have included a sensory version of The Easter Story, an Easter Egg Hunt, lots of crafts, an Easter-themed phonics session and a whole-school party!
Hardwicks Star of the Week is Abdul for recalling daily routines. Well done Abdul! 😁
This week Hardwick has celebrated Easter by doing lots of fun activities such as Easter card making, Easter baking, egg and spoon races and making our amazing egg in a box display for our whole school competition. We have all had so much fun this week 😀
This week our pupils had an insightful mental health session. They came together to share, listen and understand each other’s feelings and thoughts. It’s a beautiful reminder that mental health matters, and we are stronger, when we support one another. Together we are building a safe space where every voice is heard and every feeling counts.
Hardwicks Star of the Week is Beau for independently counting out five objects. Well done Beau! 😁
