Trip to the Library
We went for a trip to the library to explore non-fiction texts around the topic of Knights. Children enjoyed the walk to the library practicing their skills of crossing the roads and keeping themselves safe whilst out and about. Black Plague
We explored the reason why the plague spread through London. Children listened to some discussing facts and were all really surprised. Children constructed a London street using houses and recreated a street where there were lots of houses and people living close together and streets that were dirty and smelly.
Making music with Rosie
On Wednesday we had Rosie in our class again, making music with us! We sang some songs, played lots of different instruments and even explored some music apps on her ipad! We loved listening and having a turn on the fiddle! We can’t wait for our Next session with Rosie!
Aye aye captain!
The Warwick class went on a super adventure on to a canal boat! We had lots of fun seeing what we could find, waving at all the people we saw and we even got to drive the boat! Look how cute we look in our captain hats!
Trip to Sheffield Town Centre.
Windsor class enjoyed their trip to Sheffield Town Centre. We saw the amazing Cathedral, we shopped in boots, we went to the gaming museum! Such a fun day in the sun!
Careers walk
Following on from our career day on Tuesday Hardwick class enjoyed a career walk, exploring jobs in our wider community. We visited pet shops, bakery, florist and had lunch in our local cafe, yummy 👩🍳
Careers day
On Tuesday Hardwick class had careers day. Learning all about different jobs. We had lots of fun learning and dressing up.We had fire fighters ,doctor, a vet, a dentist and builders. The role play was our favourite 👩🚒👮👩🔧

Salad Making!
We have learnt a lot about our bodies growing. So, this week we have been focusing on the growth of food, and have looked specifically at vegetables. We had a great time developing this learning when making a salad – for some of us, the tasting was the best bit!
