This week in Appleby class we had a very special visitor who came in to see us, The Easter bunny! (Ebony the rabbit) we got to stroke her, give her some yummy treats and even groom her fur! We had so much fun meeting Ebony and we hope she comes back very soon!
We’ve had a great day learning all about Ramadan. We enjoyed the sensory story ‘Rameena’s Ramadan’, listened to prayer, and tasted some different foods like dates, rice and spicy potatoes!

Balmoral Class have worked incredibly hard on working independently in maths. Today we worked on reading money word problems, figuring out what operation they need to use and solve the problems using coins and notes, showing their working out. Fantastic independence!

Edinburgh went on a school trip to Grimm & Co. this week. We became authors and wrote our own magical fairytale about a Fairy called Girl and a Zebra called Zebra!
We’ve all worked super hard in our task series and our lessons this week for Conductive Education Awareness Week. Edinburgh’s motto is “Communication is the key to Independence!” and we even won a class award for being Intentional Communicators!
